Introducing the 'commission' and the 'client'

The commission came in the form of a letter from the Indian Embassy in London, inviting Sky Jet 7 to tender for a contract to run new air routes to cities in India.

Fulfilling the 'commission'

Tasks to complete the commission included: researching Indian cities; preparing a tourist brochure on the cities, tourist amenities, local sights etc.; finding out about Indian food (and making some)

The 'publication'

The class made a powerpoint presentation to a representative of the Indian Embassy (teacher in role). Parents were invited to the event which also included food prepared by the class. The final outcome was that Sky Jet 7 was awarded the contract to run the new airline routes!
